Thanks! This is a great alternative to stroganoff that my daughter can't eat (due to milk allergy). We get half a cow each year and my freezer is always stocked full of roasts. Thanks for the great idea!

After having a Julia Child dinner and making it her way, I would like to taste test this one since it is so much faster. Thanks for sharing this very hearty recipe!

This would smell so good all day long. I love the idea of cooking it in the crockpot. Thank you!

Hi SnoWhite!

Thanks for your note, I'm glad that you found the recipe a success!

I've had a lot of requests for my recipes to be republished lately, along with other content on my blog, and have had to stipulate and note in writing a set of "rules" for using content from my site. I've noted the copyright info here:

http://sarahs-musings.blogspot.com/2007/01/sarahs-musings-copyrighted-blog.html

So, yes, you can use the recipe, but please follow the guidelines noted in the copyright clause on your post.

Thank you for visiting! I'm so glad you found inspiration!

Best,
Sarah
